Eligibility Requirements As a service provider to middle and high school students, True North College Consulting is committed to protecting the privacy of children. Any student information collected by True North College Consulting on or through the Website is collected solely for the benefit of such students and not for commercial purposes or targeted advertising. True North College Consulting does not sell or trade Personal Information. Notwithstanding the foregoing, True North College Consulting will provide to parents/guardians, upon request, a description of the types of Personal Information collected on the Website, an opportunity to review the child’s Personal Information and/or have the information deleted; and the opportunity to prevent further use or online collection of a child’s Personal Information. Subject to any legal and/or regulatory record-keeping requirements, True North College Consulting retains Personal Information collected from a child for only as long as is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected and deletes such personal information using reasonable measures to protect against its unauthorized access or use.

To Provide the Services We use the information that we collect from you to provide you with the Services, support and enhance your use of the Services, allow you to evaluate your eligibility for such products or services, to monitor which features of the Services are used most and to allow us to determine which features we need to focus on improving. If you choose to provide us with Personal Information, you consent to the transfer and storage of that information on our servers located in the United States. When you provide us with Personal Information via any forms, surveys, applications, or other online fields on the Service, you consent to receive periodic informational or promotional mail or email, including our newsletter, from True North College Consulting or from third parties on True North College Consulting's behalf. You may opt out of these communications at any time following the instructions set forth in the communications, or if no instructions are included, then by contacting us per Section 12 below. We use non-Personal Information collected from users of the Services in the aggregate, so that we can improve the Services and for business and administrative purposes.

Payment and Donor Information All electronic donations and payments made via the Website will be processed by third-party payment processing services. The credit card, billing information, or other information that you provide during the payment or donation process is not stored on our servers and is handled by such third-party payment processing services. It is your responsibility to read and accept the terms of use and privacy policy of each such third-party site or service prior to your use of, or interaction with, such services. While we will seek to require such third parties to follow appropriate privacy policies, we do not bear any responsibility for any actions or policies of third parties.

Diagnose Website Problems True North College Consulting may use your Internet Protocol (IP) address to help diagnose problems with our computer server, and to administer the Website. Your IP address is also used to gather broad demographic data. It is not stored or linked to your personal profile information, such as name or contact information.

Service-Related Announcement We will send you service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email. Generally, you may not opt out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature.

Customer Service We will also communicate with you in response to your inquiries and to provide the services you request. We will communicate with you by email or telephone, in accordance with your wishes. This authorization can be rescinded at any time by contacting us per Section 12. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to respond to your access request within 30 days.

Our Disclosure of Your Information ​ Aggregated Data True North College Consulting may share aggregated usage and log data collected from users of the Services with third parties for industry analysis and demographic profiling, but such aggregated data will not include any Personal Information.

Law Enforcement True North College Consulting cooperates with government and law enforcement officials, agencies, and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We will disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials, agencies, or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to respond to claims and legal processes (including but not limited to subpoenas), to protect the property and rights of True North College Consulting or a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop activity we may consider to be, or to pose a risk of being, an illegal, unethical, or legally actionable activity.

Business Transfers In the event that all or a substantial portion of the assets, business, or stock of True North College Consulting are acquired by, merged with or transferred to another party, or in the event that True North College Consulting goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, your Personal Information may be one of the assets that is transferred to or acquired by the third party.
